Andrew is a business minded and educated commercial lawyer. He advised on commercial disputes and the structure and strategy of transactions. He honed his skills in the Magistrates’ Court and graduated to a suite of disputes involving more than $100M. In addition to commercial work he has conducted defamation proceedings for people in public life as well as proceedings concerning the validity and enforcement of intellectual property in courts and tribunals in Europe.
Andrew is also an experienced insolvency lawyer, being a full member of the Insolvency Reconstruction and Turnaround Association.

Why Walpole Johnson?
Katherine Johnson was the mathematician whose calculations were critical to the success of putting the first man on the moon. In 1968 the world did not have the computers that it does now. Ms Johnson was responsible for the calculations that allowed Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldren and Michael Collins to go to the moon and back and live to tell the story, safely.
Ms Johnson, an African American was recognised in 2015 by President Obama with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Sir Robert Walpole is considered Britain’s first Prime Minister. Having spent six months in the Tower of London after being targeted by his political opponents, he went on to become Britain’s longest serving Prime Minister. He is credited with increasing the power of Britain’s parliament over the crown and restoring confidence in the government by presiding over a period of peace and economic prosperity

The principal and practice manager have worked together since 2004. The professional staff have been lawyers for less than 10 years and receive mentoring and supervision by the principal.
